Great price for the guitar and amazing shipping time. I ordered it for my brother as a replacement for his broken guitar. I couldn't believe how inexpensive it was, and it's the same guitar as in stores! Would definitley recommend.

I like the controller, but the game is just to complicated and it's just not like it used to be.

I bought this guitar as a replacement for my SG + adapter combo that I have for my PS3. The only reason I did this was to finally have a controller that I could activate starpower/overdrive with the select button while pressing the green or orange frets at the same time. The adapter that I have unfortunately does not allow me to do that via pressing the select button (other than that, it is an amazing adapter). Tragically, this guitar does not use a USB dongle and therefore does not work on the PS3. I tried using my adapter and the results were less than ideal. Furthermore, when I looked elsewhere for an USB dongle for the guitar, I found that the dongle could only be used on the PS3 version of this guitar or on the PS3 Les Paul (who would want to buy that laggy thing anyway?).
Long story short, GHWT PS2 guitars don't work on the PS3 (at least mine did not). If you are looking for an extra guitar for your PS3, make sure to buy PS3 guitars instead of PS2 guitars (I'm referring only to GHWT and GH5 guitars btw).
Since I don't have a PS2, I can't say much about the performance of the guitar on that console. Hopefully Red Octane fixed the strumbar issues past guitars had before.

We were so pleased! The guitar came brand new and in perfect condition. It was in it's original packaging and we were pleased with how quickly it was shipped ot us! We bought a guitar just like this from Best Buy a few months ago, which they since don't carry anymore, and this guitar from Amazon is exactly the same and we paid quite a bit less here on Amazon.com. This was our first order from Amazon and we will definitely order from here again!

After son either losing pieces to his wireless guitars or wearing them out. Pick up two from this vendor exactly half the price they are originally selling for at other stores. Excellent value. Received my package in 3 days tops. Thank you for my speedy christmas delivery. we love it.
