More to this than meets the eye. March 26, 2010 TonyTheTGR (Bakersfield, CA) One thing I wish I knew ahead of time is function of the frets near the neck. Whereas official RB2 controllers use this for "solo tap-frets," on the Guitar Evo II controller, they're just a second set of regular fret buttons. If you're expecting the "solo-tap" functionality for RB games (like the official Stratocasters), you're in for a little hurt. That detail aside, this controller has terrific range and practically instant response time. The outer neck is thinner and easier to grip than many GH/RB controllers, and the second frets are closer together, making some odd combos (like those Green-Orange transitions/chords) a lot easier to hit. And since GH series tap-notes work with the regular frets, it can still help you nail a lot of that series' tap-solos. Finally, since the PS3-compatibility uses USB, you can also use this for a PC-compatible controller as well.

I would give you a negative, because the package that made this article, I charged $ 95 shipping. Placed it in a big box, so the shipping company charge me for size
Super cool "Guitar Hero" guitar. March 25, 2009 Mark 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I love this guitar. It looks cool and works great. My friends are so jealous when I use it.
Don't expect high quality! March 11, 2009 A. Gift For You (Adams, NY USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
It works just fine, but it's not very good quality. The strum bar clicks when you use it, which is both good and bad. The buttons feel like you could break them easily if you really started "rockin' out". It is imported from Canada, thereby the included warranty is not enforceable as it pertains to Canadian customers. It looks nice, and plays fine, just don't expect it to last too long.
