This controller is great - have bought a few of them - hey, we play a lot and just plain wear them out! Rock on, music lovers!

5 out of 5 stars Company Review   November 2, 2009

The company Tech for less was the best I have ever experienced on amazon. When I got the guitar a spring had been popped loose, and when I informed them, they promptly shipped me a replacement guitar, free of charge to myself. Their customer service is amazing, I will be buying anything I can from the from now on.

5 out of 5 stars Replacement   February 3, 2009

i bought this guitar as a replacement for an old guitar from guitar hero 2 and as an addition to the wireless guitar i already had from the guitar hero 3 game/guitar combo. i love the freedom of movement and the range the signal has; its a really great value too!

3 out of 5 stars Broken after 2 weeks!   December 30, 2008

I was very happy at first with this controller, despite one of the buttons near the on/off switch breaking and falling into the main cavity as soon as I took out the guitar. Now it rattles. That's not my main issue, however. In the few weeks I've had it, it has already developed a very loud clicking noise on every strum, and its biggest problem is that whatever tells it to activate star power is broken. Instead of tilting my guitar to activate it, it just automatically does it whenever I have enough energy. This is frustrating, because a key part of Guitar Hero is being able to maximize your points using star power. I tried taking it apart to figure out what was wrong, but the hex bolts stripped and now the main controller's innards are locked away forever.

Sorry, Kramer, but 3 strikes and you're out. I'm online right now to purchase a different brand replacement. I do have the white wireless guitar by Activision, and have had no problems with it yet.

3 out of 5 stars Works for awhile   December 1, 2008

We bought the GH3 bundle that included this guitar back in March (08)(maybe before or after that, not posative!)..the guitar worked perfectly. Untill recently. It started with notes being cut off and now some of the buttons only work when they want to. Seems to work better when you pull down on the neck of the guitar while playing, maybe a problem with the connection between the 2 pieces?? I think the detachable neck was not a good idea. The guitar did work great for months and has been used ALOT by me, my husband and our 9 year old. Despite our recent problems with the guitar, I personally like this guitar much better than the others I have tried and do plan on purchasing a new one.
